Darien Artist Charged After Violating Protective Order: Police

An artist was arrested and charged after violating a protective order in Fairfield County, police said.

Darrin Lamorte, age 53, had violated his conditions of release by staying at a home in Darien on Nov. 10, according to the Darien Police Department.

He was arrested at on Tuesday, Nov. 14 after officers advised him of the violation.

Lamorte, a Darien resident who describes himself as an artist who was born in Greenwich grew up in Fairfield County, has been charged with violation of condition of release, according to police.

He was held on a $10,000 bond and was set to appear in court on Wednesday, Nov. 15.
